For use in high-precision machining centers with demanding performance requirements, a customized Lovejoy India coupling solution has been developed to provide a compact, reliable, and installation-friendly connection between the drive system and the ball screw assembly.
The primary objective was to achieve an extremely compact design while ensuring easy assembly and high torsional stiffness for accurate motion transmission. To meet these requirements, a specially engineered Lovejoy torsionally rigid coupling was selected. The coupling incorporates a customized hub design with an integrated precision-machined bushing, creating the necessary internal clearance for mounting and securing the ball screw locking nut without increasing the overall assembly dimensions
